Inspired by the awe-inspiring fjord coast formations, this map boasts a series of lengthy, narrow inlets enclosed by towering cliffs. Each inlet terminates in a small bay area, originating from one of the map’s sea edges in a similar fashion. Windy Fjords stands as one of the game’s most breathtaking maps, from the geography of northern Europe. As the map’s name suggests, the predominant feature is the fjords, those deep ocean inlets nestled between two imposing cliffs.
Amidst the mountains, there’s a sizable, developable region with the option to reach the tops of the fjords via narrow slopes.
The game’s new engine offers stunning views while building on this map. However, it’s not ideal for a bustling metropolis. It has great connections and natural resources, but we recommend going for a smaller countryside build to match the natural scenery.
