Cities: Skylines 2 – Twin Mountain Map
Cities: Skylines 2 – Twin Mountain Map
Twin Mountain is one of two maps with nearly identical terrain, featuring a vast mountain range that gradually descends to a coastline, offering ample space for your industries to connect with the sea. This map has a distinct feature – the two large mountains in the background are adorned with snow, highlighting the new seasonal mechanics in the game.
Inspired by Iceland’s dramatic coastline and its iconic cliffs, this map showcases two distinct tuya mountain formations, each flat-topped and steep-sided. A small river meanders across the terrain, flowing downhill toward the ocean. Along the coast, you’ll discover numerous cliffs and secluded beaches, offering convenient access to seaways and shipping routes.
While these snow-covered peaks offer a picturesque view from the ocean, closer inspection of the inland terrain reveals some unusual visual elements. Specifically, there is a snow-covered gully between the two mountains, even though the entire area is at sea level, creating a perpetual blanket of white behind the mountains, which may seem visually peculiar.
The map lacks an existing train track, so expanding to the map’s edge is necessary if you want to establish one. However, you can still create a train network within your city without requiring an external connection if that aligns with your city’s design.
